Anti-Cast | All About Linux Systemd Timers w/ Hal Pomeranz
February 7 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EST
The Linux-guru, Hal Pomeranz, returns for a free one-hour Antisyphon Anti-Cast!
As if Linux didn’t already have enough task scheduling mechanisms, we now have “timers”—a highly configurable task scheduling mechanism implemented by Systemd. Threat actors are already starting to use Systemd timers for persistence.
Hal will cover the basics of configuring Systemd timers and how they operate, plus forensic indicators you can look for to find any timers deployed in your systems.
